How to Make a DIY Pet Teepee
Updated: Mar 28
More than likely, you have your own cozy hangout in your house. Whether it’s a favorite couch or a comfy chair, it’s your sacred sanctuary. Did you ever consider that your pet deserves this type of luxury as well? With this DIY pet teepee, they can have a functional and stylish hangout spot all to their own.

Materials:
2 yards of canvas fabric
Tape measure
Marker
Scissors
4 (48-inch) wooden dowels
3 yards of rope
Directions:
Fold the fabric in half, and measure down 48 inches. Mark this point, and then continue to move along in a half-circle shape, marking at the 48-inch point each time. Cut along the line you marked.
Tie the dowels together with rope, and fan out to create the teepee shape. Then drape your fabric over the dowels, and secure with hot glue.
Leave an opening in the front of the teepee for your pet to be able to easily come and go.
